We are going to be in MK on Sat., November, 6th and want to watch Wishes closer to the castle than we did on our last visit. Last time we were back near the train station (great but too many lights left on) and there was a very little wait for the monorail.

If we watch deeper into the park, (Main St. Ice Cream or bridge to Tomorrowland, AKA under Tink) what kind of lines can we expect for the monorail?

I ask because we have an 8:30 a.m. flight and with ME, that means waking up at 5:30.

Thank you!

Let's see. Wishes would be at 9 and gotta figure out some things. People will be leaving to leave the park for the day, but others may and will go to Tomorrow Land. You shouldn't have too much of a wait for the monorails.

Many people do leave after Wishes, even if the park is open later. The line will not be as bad as it would be if Wishes occurred right at park closing when everybody has to leave, but it will still be there. If you are heading to TTC the boat line always seems to move faster, maybe my imagination, I don't know!

We always watch the fireworks near the castle and when it is over we stick around for about 5-10 minutes afterwards in the candy stores and wait for the crowds to lighten up. It doesn't take long for the crowds to leave and when you leave it is less rush and relaxing.

you will be suprised at how fast the parks clear out! Catching a bus or monorail is a different story IMO...also I had a NIGHTMARE in spectromagic one night, more on that in my trip report I am working on...IT IS SOOOOO CROWDED!!! EVEN on a slow night, all night we waited not 5 mins for a ride and then BOOM spectro and wishes and it was PACKED, I do not know how you dissers do it at holiday time, it was freaking me out to be so sqished and packed!!! WATCH YOUR KIDS!!! Something terrible happened to me and my 9 yo and I will never forget it(all is fine and it did not ruin my trip) BE PREPARED. It was like nothing I had ever seen before, being an Iowa resident and living in a small city like DSM. I did not have my game face on nor was I prepared for the crowds and noise!!

The monorail holds a lot of people, which is a help. The lines will move a lot faster than the bus lines. That being said, you will have to wait a little bit, and you probably will have to stand. But it won't be THAT bad.

It means being awake, packed and waiting by the ME pickup at 5:30 a.m., doesn't it?
