Lines that are difficult despite being accessible

Snark much?

How is it breaking the rules to ask to enter the FP+ line using a DAS when the standby time is low enough that you would not be given a return time anyway? I'm pretty sure that in each of these cases my dd has actually waited longer (due to needing the wheelchair vehicle) than any of the people walking right on from standby.

These queues in particular can be very dangerous to someone on a ventilator or running IV fluids (or even tube feeds) because it is impossible to see, and easy to snag tubing in all the switchbacks.

It wasn't snark, and yes, it is breaking the rules. Unless the guest has a FP or DAS, then the CMs shouldn't be allowing the guest through the FP line when the standby line is accessible.

I'm reading this, and these are all the same lines that are terrible for my son because of the low light. He simply can't see where the line is going, up and down, back and forth, and in many of them the line is moving quiet fast and here we are, stumbling along slowly. Space mountain is the worst for this - that whole beginning section is generally not a wait, so everyone is trying to get through quickly. At least for him, he slowly just holds the rail, or the rope, and shuffles along. I can't imagine doing it in a wheelchair.

For you, Space Mt at DL would be so much easier. It is sort of similar to Spaceship Earth at Epcot, they have you wait and then escort a few groups in at a time, and it is not dark, and extra bonus, they have a nice way to board the vehicles, off to the side (sort of like TS Mania). And the seats are side by side.
