Lines in late June/early July

The only time we were at Universal was in the month of November and the lines were great. We're going to Orlando the last week of June/first week of July and were wondering what the lines will be like at Universal and IOA. We've been to Disney during this time and know their lines are long. Is it the same at the Universal Parks?

If you're staying on site it won't be a problem though. We've been there at that time and FOTL is the best. The parks get very crowded July 4th.

hey gschmerl......right up the road from you in Lansdale. We'll be in Orlando in late June and are doing 4 nites at HRH. Can't wait to use FOTL ! Hope it makes this part of the rip as relaxing as I think it will. Ride the rides, then hit the cabana !!!.

One of my favorite restaurants moved to Lansdale last year. If you haven't tried it yet, visit Ristorante Toscano. Wonderful food!!!

FOTL at popular attractions has a chance of going over the 15 min expected wait time. At ROTM, sometimes the FOTL wait can reach 20-30 mins!

LOVE Toscano's. Not a great fan of Opera night, but the food is super. Been going there since it opened over in MOntgomery Crossing Shopping Center. Also, if you never tried ti, try Arianna's in MOntgomery Twp. It's in the little stip center on North Wales Road where Pep B0ys is. Great food, super bruchetta !!

MY two boy will be FOTL abusers to be sure !!

45-60 min wait times will be the average...

I'd say at least 45-60 minute waits. When we visitied last July, most of the popular attractions had waits of 75 minutes or more by 10:00 in the morning!

The other thing is that the Universal Express passes will quickly be pushed to late afternoon times and then run out before noon each day.

It will be crowded, and the best advice you'll see here often is to get to the park very early...before it "officially" opens. Then head to the popular attractions to try to get as many done before the huge crowds arrive.

You will also be there around 4th of July, so you can expect the large crowds to be even bigger for that extended weekend.

Good luck! We'll be visiting WDW and US/IOA during the same time!

Everyone is right about the wait .We have been 4 times in that time frame and fotl is the way to go.Even with fotl a little planning is in order.I would hit the parks early a few days for the most popular rides and early in the week.Hulk ,Spiderman,MIB,Mummy are the worst .Also we have had luck late near closing.Avoid those rides in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the park ,some shows,eat or go back and relax at the hotel
