Lines for special menus at EPCOT Food and Wine?

I was thinking about bypassing a sit-down restaurant at EPCOT for dinner and instead tour the different country special offerings. Can you pass along your experiences about the wait in line? I would hate to spend all of the time waiting from one line to the next. I will be going on a Thursday.

You'll be much better off on a Thursday than on a weekend.

Some booths are more popular than others (Canada and Poland for some reason have the longest lines). But if it's not a weekend I wouldn't worry about it.

I bet the line for guests waiting for ethnic food from the Poland pavilion must be pretty long considering that the Poland pavillion hasn't be built or even conceived of yet! ;) But seriously, I think this person means the line for the Russian paviliion, the smoked salmon and little dishes of caviar with Russian vodka are the best!! Don't miss this one, there is a special dining experience for Russian food on August 31st at the former wonders of life paviliion, see you there!

Sorry I didn't catch the use of the word "Pavilion." I did say "booth."

August 31 was a month ago and there isn't a Russia booth. Maybe I am just

You're not the only one who's confused. ;)

I've never been to F&W when there's been a booth from Russia and let me tell you, my husband and I would have been all over that baby. I don't recall seeing mention of anything featuring Russia this year either, but it would be nice if that were something new that Epcot added for our sampling pleasure.

To answer the original question, we've found that there are fewer lines during the week, and especially during the early afternoon. As the day progresses and the World Showcase fills up with more guests it only stands to reason that the lines for various booths would grow a bit longer. But honestly, even during the evenings I can't recall standing in line for longer than five minutes.

Weekends are busiest, as you'd probably expect.

Hope you have a good time - we love chowing around the world during the festival. :goodvibes

There WAS a Russia booth. Just not in the past 2 years. Believe me, I know, the beef stroganoff was my favorite. The guy working there gave me a whole BOWL of it once. Not the little tasting cup, a real bowl.

Don't mess with me about making me think they might bring back the beef stroganoff. :guilty:
