Have the lines been any better since the adding of the extra track/theater? I am trying to figure out how long a line (NOT ropedrop) will be say any time from 11:00 to close to try and ride without the FP. We hope to see FEA at epcot and RnR at DHS with the FP.

Would like a time for 30 min or less-mom in an ECV- going 11/26 to 12/2. Best guess?

Nevermind. I misread. The post below mine has much better advice.

but that week is one of the busiest, if not THE busiest of the year, so I would not count on lines less than 30 minutes after 11am.

I think you misread the dates as being the Christmas break rather than the week after Thanksgiving. It's actually a not bad time to go although that weekend will be very crowded it will clear out a lot after Monday. The lines are a lot better but I still think you're likely hitting more than 30 minutes without a FP for a good portion of the day. If you can do rope drop, you'll be in good shape for both.

You're right, I did!

We were there in August and Toy story mania had a 30 minute wait in the evening when we used our fast passes around 7. We went back at 8:20 and it said a 10 minute wait but we walked right on. Everyone was either watching Fantastmic or waiting for the fireworks.

We were there hurricane week. I was hoping for shorter lines on TSMM with the new track (also hoping for 30 minutes or less), but they were typically in the 40 to 60 minute range. Shorter than in the past when they were 60 to 90, but still pretty long. Soarin was also still in that 40 to 60 range a lot of the time. Soarin is typically really short near park close when everyone is getting ready to watch Illuminations(we've walked on then) and I've heard that TSMM can be short around fireworks and Fantasmic time.

(I should mention that when we LEFT Soarin', it was up to 40 minutes. But while we did't time the stated 20-minute wait, it was definitely no more than 20. May have been 15.)
