Lines can be their shortest in the evening. Here's an example of what we were able to accomplish from 8 pm to midnight early last summer. MK had EMH that morning, and it was bumper to bumper traffic leaving the park when we arrived at 8.

We also watched the parade and fireworks and had a couple of Dole Whips.

The most important fact to remember is that posted wait times are often greatly exaggerated at night.

He spent nearly 8 hours more standing on bus stands and riding them than it took us in cars. The biggest one was when he just missed his bus to AK then waiting over 20 minutes then rode over. We were there in under 10 minutes.

I was always somewhat skeptical in how much time would be saved. It was a lot.

We used a car last trip and it was so much easier. This trip we were toying with saving the money and doing without it but this has just settled it.

did that include the time it took too pick up/ drop off rental.

That's been our experience as well. The MK can take the longest if you don't know all the tricks but driving from resort-resort, park-resort, resort-park, and park-park is SO much faster.

I've heard this about MK. What are some of the tricks, if you don't mind me asking.

here are some of them, but not all.

We have driving to disney many a day trip remember, cars get super hot parked in the fla sun.

I would say the number one tip would be to avoid peak times of leaving/ going to the parks, to avoid the traffic. Night time traffic can be a bear.
