Hi i've seen a few threads lately about late april early may and the genral opinion seems to be busy(ish) so i was wondering what kinda wait times i should expect for the major attractions i.e space,splash,btmrr,tot etc...
I have never been this time of year so any info would be very helpful. thanks

im going at that time so id like to know to
i think it might be busy for the popular rides (eg:splash 1hr BTMR 55 mins) because of the 50th celebration thingy

I went last year, I never really waited on anything, of course, I did use Fast pass on occasion, but still never had to wait. I was there april 23-30th last year, this year going back april 22-30th. we didnt even need to use our PS's at any of the restaraunts(except for Ohanas)

This year may be a little busier than last year due to some northeast schools have off the last week of April. Everything should still be manageable though.

Was thinking of going this week, but am undecided about the crowds. There have been several threads about this week, and general consensus is pretty crowded. On the other hand, who really knows? I had thought all the spring breaks would be over, but that is not the case. So,

Anytime other than the major holidays, spring break and christas, the waits are usually pretty light

We are going the last week in April and i called last night to change resorts. Well, A Lot is booked up and I was having some problems so I'm assuming it's going to be somewhat busy.

just tonight we were contemplating a trip the last week of april, only to find out that there is NO cheap (or even reasonable) airfare from NY to MCO that week... schools here in NY are closed and it looks like *everyone* is heading south... we'll have to wait 'til the end of August/September instead... sigh...

This year, with Easter being so very early, there still seems to be some Spring Break travelers that last week in April. So, that does indeed sound like it might be busier than it would otherwise be.

The first week of May is when we will be at WDW.... I am not sure how the opening of the big 50th celebration will affect the crowds on this particular week??? (I am holding out hope that it will NOT be super crowded!!!) I have even thought of calling to act like I am interested in reservations at WDW too see what the availability looks like.

cheers guys looks like it could be busy for the last week in april then but quiter in the 1st week of may!
