Line up time for F dessert package at 8:40?

The night that I booked our Fantasmic package for is Thursday, June 24th and Fantasmic is at 8:40 that night due to Grad night. Does this mean the line to check in will be shorter b/c of only one set of people to have to check in? WOC is showing twice that night, so I'm wondering what time I should start scoping out the line to check in so that we can get decent seats for my kids to be able to see well. We've never done the Fantasmic package before (only been to DLR once). Any advice about checking in and picking seats would be great!--I am very anxious about this!

check in is at 8, get to pick the seats then. Line was already forming at 6ish when I was there two weeks ago....if you want good seats, definitely be in line at 8 (and then you can leave, come back at 8:40 to get your dessert box and drink...)

If you want front row seats, I would be in line a couple of hours prior to check in. We got in line at 6:15 for a 9:25 show (they started check in at 8) and there were two sets of people in front of us already.

The line will get worse as summer progresses(earlier people waiting.)
