A quick question...

We have been on two cruises before and we were near the front and actually at the front of line to board the ship. This meant getting to the port fairly early.

As we have booked Palo and Spa online we don't feel we need to be there so early.

How long is the line to get on the boat about 14.00 hrs?

We are not worried about the line for checking in as we are not US Citizens so we have our own check in.

Thank you

Mark

Don't know how long it is at that point, but probably shorter than at the earliest boarding time.

Making the reservations for everything online is excellent. We just experienced it for the first time...what a relief to be able to get on and enjoy the ship instead of running around like chickens..lol..totally excellent.

not sure but when we arrived at 11:20 am there was one huge line :rolleyes1 . dh refused to stay in the line and walked the kids around while I checked in and did the kids club. By the time I finished we walked right onboard at 12:25. ;) gotta love that guy of mine with his thinking!

Thanks for the replies so far.

I am definitely thinking that it might a good plan to turn up later and possibly walk straight on to the ship.

You know there are other things you might want to get a ressie for besides your spa and Palo's. With that being said I like to get there early so we can take advantage of the ship while it is not as crowded. Plus you get more for your money if you are there earlier. LOL

What other things do you need to get ressies for?

Hairbraiding, tours, wine, tequilla, beer or martini tastings....

We arrived at the terminal about 11 am, and it was crowded! Was allowed to check in which went quite fast, but then had to wait till 12:30 to board the ship. A very long line formed that went around the terminal.

After we boarded, I walked by about 2 hours later and noticed the terminal was empty, and passengers checked in and walked right on the boat with ease.

Our next cruise, 2006, I am taking my time getting to the terminal from the airport.
