My HS day is March 4th. We have a FP for SDD and are either going to RD SR or MMRT. My boys also want to do Jedi Training and this would be their first time and last time. Would I be okay having DH go line up for a ride while DS and I sign up for training and then join him... or is that the same thing as cutting in line?

Don’t get in line until all your party is there. Not fair to those whose kids wait in line to see another kid cut.

I have heard that the sign up is available when you get into the park before rope drop. I would check to see if you can still do that when you are there. Currently they let people in up to an hour before rope drop. So I would go early and try that at least. The. You could all go together to get in line for your ride.

I have heard many reports that Jedi training is not filling up so fast anymore and that you would have time to RD SDD then all go to sign up.

also JT has been reported to be opening sign ups before the park opening times so you all can head there first

Is making your way through any other RD guests to your husband or wife who is at the front of RD after you went to sign up for Jedi Training different or the same situation as the original poster's question????

Personally, this feels different. You aren't in line anywhere and the park isnt even open. Just my opinion.

Completely different if you were in a queue.

Isn't that the day Mickey and Minnie opens? I wouldn't do this for that line at least.

This is the classic case of line cutting. You are talking about 2 of the most popular rides in HS, especially the opening day of MMRR. Not a good idea to cut the line for any ride but especially so for the scenario you described. What if you are waiting in line to sign your kids up for Jedi and somebody in front of you has his entire group cut in at the last moment and takes up the last spots?
