line cutting

I was shocked to see how some people will just cut in line. I am not talking meeting up with with someone due to parking strollers and stuff. we got to tsm at rd and the line was still in the street, i went to park the stroller and left dh with the kids. i had been chatting with the family in front of us so i knew when i came back the people now in front of us were not suppossed to be. dh had been on the phone and had no idea. dd loudly told me how they just cut right in front of them. i counted how many people now between us and the family we had been behind and it was at least 11 maybe more. i was so annoyed. dd did a great job of letting them know how they just cut in front of kids. these were all grown ups and teens. the whole line she made note how they just walked up and cut them and how unfair it was. i actual had to tell her to stop since they could have cared less and i was done hearing it!
but wow i would not ave expected that!
Then at Tea cups a few days later about 5 teens just pushed past everyone and then cut us, when i asked them why they were cutting they said well we had been way ahead and had stopped for some pictures and stuff. okay so now you cut in front of my kids? they had not been anywhere near us before

That too is techically line cutting and if you let a CM know they will assist them out of the line for you.

So next time that happens dont be afraid to let a CM know. They take that very seriously!!! Its not fair to those who actually follow the rules.

What's someone's breaking point for line cutters? It's a pet peeve of mine. I used to let it slide but not anymore. It's mostly teenagers that I see. I think I've got my mean look perfected so they don't usually get in front of me. LOL

Actually, they usually don't. Best course of action is often to just grin and bear it.

We saw a man get kicked out of the parks last year.

Two teenage girls cut him in line (near the entrance of the building at Splash Mountain...during a 90 minute posted stand by time) and he asked them to please leave. And they swore at him in street lingo even I didn't understand. He then called them some racial slur and then one of the girls got a cast member and the guy was thrown out. The girls were allowed to stay in line even though people in line complained about them too. Luckily we were about 10 people in front of them or I might have had a hard time not asking them where they came up with the nerve to cut everyone.

That is not true. Maybe once in a while. But for the most part there is nothing they can (or if they can, will) do. It happens all the time at Disney. They'll just tell you they have no proof or whatnot.

When they (line cutters) tell me they are meeting someone in front of us, I tell them to get a cast member or have whoever they want come back there. I will not let them by unless a cast member tells me to. Never have had one call a cast member.

Being on here long enough to know some people do this as a strategy to get more rides in for the child. And I am sure that child is having a blast....at the expense of people behind him who payed just as much

I ususally "buff up" my elbows and block people from passing. It really irritates me when people do this. We were waiting in line for Soarin' and there were several people who walked by to catch up to their group (chances are they were getting FPs while their crew was waiting in line). There isn't too much you can do, so I try not to let it bother me. TRY not to let it bother me!

yeah we did that on BTMRR. a group of 4 had been excusing them selves to meet up with a single kid far up the line until they got to us. We wouldn't let them thru and once we said it several others in line said the same thing. the kid grudgingly waited for them to catch up.

we just stand blocking the line and ignore requests to get by. stay together, stay in line.

Quite possibly your husband wasn't moving because of the phone call he recieved, and the group of people just walked around him and the rest of your family.
