Hey Lindsay- that's sweet of caryn to offer that to you. Think of it that way- a free officiant if wrost comes to worst. My sister offered to get ordained on onine she she could marry us. But I was too selfish to give up her as my MOH. Her standing up for me meant more than her marrying us. Is that weird?

I can picture Caryn now...walking down the aisle doing her very special bridesmaid/diva/moh duties. And just as she makes her way to the typical BM/MOH spot, she turns to her assistant - hands off her flowers and puts on the boa, tiara, gloves and grabs the book and makes her way to the altar area to perform the service...

Again, another small update:

We got in touch with Rev. Miller, who is available for our date and time. I am going to fill out his forms and mail them tomorrow.

We picked out Chris's ring yesterday. It's really neat.... it has to be special ordered so I don't have a picture yet.

I have made our reservations to stay at the Grand. I will probably change them once the AP rate comes out... we'll see.

Oh, and the biggest update of all
I FOUND THE CORD TO MY CAMERA!!!!!!!

Lindsay, what? You have a problem with butterflies? Your devoted, hard-working sister Caryn picked out this lovely veil for you and you don't want to wear it??? She even became a minister so she could marry you & Chris. What a wonderful girl!

Seriously, your wedding ring is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see it. We just wish we were going to see you next week in NJ. I'll try to keep Caryn & Megan from plotting anything too awful for your shower in February. Although it is tempting to join forces with them . . . You have such a wonderful, fun family.

Another small update:
We're both trying to sit down and figure out what to try at our tasting. We're most likely going ot have the Lady and the Tramp Reherasal dinner (and modify it a little bit....)
I'm busy copying pics (from here!) for the PS. I have pictures of centerpieces and bouquets so far.

Caryn has made her reservations for the PS and the half marathon so I'm really excited about that. She's going to stay with us for a few nights and apparently she's going to bring the inviations. We are going to mail them out right after the new year.

My first dress fitting is Jan 18. I'm having my dress done and a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I'm in at the end of Feb!

We've been in touch with a travel agent, trying to decide on a honeymoon. We aren't going to go until the summertime since Chris is teaching and he shouldn't take that much time off.
