Well here is my first post to my new journal.
I am 44 years old and need to lose 55 lbs. I have tried all sorts of diets in the past, lost and then gained. I want to concentrate on exercise and just eating healthy.
Yesterday I went to the track for the first time in about 5 years and walked 1.5 miles. I felt pretty good.
Today I went back to the track and walked the same distance but jogged a small amount.
Well I feel pretty good, I hope I can keep this up and lose the weight.
Tomorrow is work and I think I will rest from the track and go back Tuesday.

You've got the right mindset...you just need to do it. Eating healthy never worked for me, in my experience. I had to go out and find a plan that I liked. But whatever works for you! Make sure to drink your water, okay?
