Lincoln Park Zoo??

Hi again Chicago friends and to whoever has been to this zoo, Just wondering if I should add this into our short trip to chicago, three days, I should note that we are going to the Milwaukee Zoo on our way down to Chicago, I love zoos and I have a 3yr old son and 7yr old daughter who I think will really enjoy them, Husband on the other hand I think can handle one but Im not sure two, so is it worth seeing, I already looked at their website but would like to get an idea from someone who actually has been there. I personally think it's worth seeing and most importantly....IT'S FREE!!!! I had never been there until last summer and I was very impressed. The grounds are beautiful, they have great animals. It's a great zoo!!!! I have not been to Milwaukee Zoo but I have heard it's a very great zoo also. So if it were me and I had to pick one of two - I would go for the free one!

In my opinion Lincoln Park is a nice zoo, but parking in that area is a nightmare. I prefer Brookfield zoo in suburban Brookfield. In fact we like that zoo so much we became members.

I'm also a big fan of the Milwaukee zoo.

I love zoo's and I don't think you can go wrong with any of those three.

All three zoos are great. But give me Animal Kingdom any day.

My vote is for Brookfield Zoo too!!
Love this zoo, so much to do. And as mentioned, way easier parking and getting to, in my opinion.

If you are staying in Chicago there is a public transportation bus that drops off right at the zoo entrance. Price for bus is $1.50 for adults and I think $.75 for kids. There are also free trolley's in the summer but I don't know if they go that far north and are sometimes a long wait to get. I would never drive there once parked at the hotel and we always use the public transportation. The drivers are good about helping you find the right bus if you aren't sure which one to take.
