Limousine info?

Has anyone 'splurged' and taken a limousine from LAX to the Disneyland Hotel lately? I have already booked one for next week, but I'm just curious is any of you have other recommendations, experiences, information to share about this. Our price quote is just about $200 each way. I know.....crazy.....but it's a surprise for my daughter's 16th birthday.....and it's just the 3 of us......daughter, her best friend and myself.

Thanks for any info you might share.......and any other 'surprise' birthday ideas that we can do while at Disneyland. While making dining reservations, I have mentioned that it was her birthday......otherwise, that's about it.

I haven't taken one yet but we are getting one in November. It's going to be a surprise for my DS-17 and his female friend. Which company did you go with? We are trying U-R-THERE-Limousine Service which I must have read good reviews somewhere but I can't remember where. They quoted me $127 one way from John Wayne Airport for an 8 passenger limo. When they sent the quote there was a special for me to upgrade to a 10 passenger at the same price , so I did. So while I can't really make a total recommendation you might want to check around since that is quite a difference in cost. (maybe it is also the difference in airports?) Did you add any party extras, by chance? Whatever you do, I am sure she will think it's really cool!

Make sure you get her a birthday button to wear to the parks! You can get them at City Hall or at the hotel front desk. The CM's in the parks and at the hotel will make a big deal over her when they see it.

We used Luken Limousine back in December and had no complaints on our service from LAX to CCI. I believe we paid $150 each way for a stretch limo.

It was a surprise for the kids and was a blast. I just loved the kid's reactions when we got to baggage claim and Howard Luken (owner) was standing there with our name on a sign.

We used www.amourway.com. It was $152 one way from LAX. It was outstanding!! Sean was an amazing driver. Dressed great and chatted with us all the way. He drove amazingly, not nutty!!

We would highly recommend this limo company!!
