Limosine vs. taxi vs. rental car

I just did a search for a rental car through Budget and it is going to be about $100 each way for an SUV. Does anyone know how much a limosine would be from the Orlando airport to the port. And then how much a tax for 5 would be from the airport to the port. Thanks for any info.

You didn't say how many are in your party, but the more people you have, the better deal a limo or van is. Our family of four took a towncar from the port to the airport for about $90 + tip. We used Florida Tours (fltours.com). They have a price list on that site.

I don't know about a taxi to the port or back, but I can only guess that it's pretty expensive since a taxi from the Airport Hyatt to the nearby Walgreens was about $20 with tip and about 20 min. wait time.

I would also guess a taxi would be quite a bit... We had four in our family and found it was quite a bit cheeper for us to go with a Towncar than the DCL transfers...and from the sounds of it cheeper than your rental car would be also.... We decided to upgrade and go with the limo...which was just a little bit more than the transfers would have been.

We went with Southern Elegance limo co...and had GREAT service... not to mention we were picked up in a AWESOME NEW limo.

Depending on the # in your family, and possibly their sizes, it may be expensive for you to contract a limo service. I am in the process of checking it out now. MOst of the companies say we need a van because there are 5 of us. I haven't checked fltours. I am off to do that now.

I just checked fltours. It would be $220 RT for transfers from MCO to the port for a family of 5... It seems pretty close to other quotes I have been getting.
