Hello

I currently have a limo booked for our party to take us to WP and reception venue, the only thing is that it will have to do 2 trips cause we have more than 8 people. Does anyone know if the cost is different if you hire two of them or are they set at an hourly rate? Is there a minimum time that you have to hire one?

TIA

You have to book them for a minimum of three hours for an hourly rate. So it makes more sense to have one limo make trips than to have two drive simultaneously (I mean, if you want to save money). :thumbsup2

Do the limos come with champagne???

I was thinking of having a motorcoach depending on how many guests I have... Was it a huge cost factor for the limo for the bride and groom?

Well I went back and looked, and it looks like a 3-hour charter limo (i.e., one that will drive wherever you want and make multiple trips) was $330 in 2007, whereas our one-way limo, which just took us from BCV to backstage at Epcot, was $145 in 2007 prices.

So if you just need to get the bride and groom from the WP to the reception, you could do that cheaper one-way limo. Or you could save the fee altogether by having them ride the bus with the guests (but I know most couples stay behond for pictures so that wouldn't work for them).

Lynn ~ ours did not come with champagne. I imagine if you really wanted some you could arrange to have in the limo. Personally, we weren't in the limo long enough to really enjoy any beverages let alone a bottle of champagne.

Was your One-Way Limo the type that picked you up (I.E.) at the resort then took you to Epcot, then at the arranged time, picked you up from Epcot then took you directly back to the resort? Or just the actual one trip?

It was just one-way. We took our Friendship boat to the reception and a public Friendship boat back to the hotel.

This info posted by cseca is really helpful:

Limo (8 people) 89.6/hour, min 3hrs
Limo (8 people) 151.2 1-way
Limo (8 people) 302.4 Round Trip

The capacity isn't listed in my BEO. We had 39 people onboard and everyone got a seat. I'd imagine you could go up to 50, maybe, with some people standing?

You are so smart, Carrie, what would we all do without you??!! :goodvibes I can tell my planner to drop my limo to a one-way and then the price for the friendship boat is essentially less by cutting the price of the limo!!! :lovestruc

Hooray for saving money!! :goodvibes And I have to say, it was almost more fun riding the public Friendship boat because everyone onboard was freaking out over the bride and groom - hee hee!

Anyone who used the antique rolls - does that come pick you up from your hotel?

We're going to have 11 people and we have decided to do away with the floral idea at SBP and have a stretch Hummer instead. We are going to use that for us two and my parents and the other 7 guests can use the limo. I think we'll need to extend it from the included 3 hours to 4 to cover everything but as only 2 of our guests have been to Disney before they probsbly wouldn't want to drive around.

Stupid Question, can the round trip bus or limo be used to pick up from yc to the lss, then from lss to french island?
