has anyone taked a limo TO the airport? Looking at going from Etobicoke area to YYZ - thought it'd be cool for the kids and mil (yes we include her with the kids :lmao: )

Who did you use and is the quote of $115 for a stretch SUV limo reasonable? It's about a 25 min drive to the airport from the IL's house where we'll be staying the night before.

WOW!

That sounds expensive! So when you going? :lmao: :lmao:

October 8th - we fly out of YYZ at 10:20am on Westjet - $347 PP taxes in! Didn't really want to pay that much for airfare and I wanted to leave from Buffalo but dh insisted we get non stop from TO to make sure fil has a good flight. Mil (the big kid) wants the limo and when we look at the $47 per week for parking X 2 cars makes more sense to take airport transport - unless someone knows a cheaper way to park. We could take a van - mil was quoted $50 or so for all 6 of us but SHE wants the limo - for the kids she says :lmao:

I've never taken an SUV limo or stretch to Toronto airport. We have a guy we've been using for years but he has a Black Town Car.

The weird thing is that in other cities it's so much easier and cheap to get a stretch limo. Everytime I go to Chicago I call a certain company and always get a stretch for a great flat rate price. At Vancouver airport they are readily available and I even got one from a hotel without even requesting it. Yet here we don't seem to have a big fleet of them.

There are 6 of us plus I'm sure mil will have at least that many suitcases  so the town car wouldn't work. We need either the van or the limo. seems a tad expensive to me but do I care if she's willing to pay?? :lmao:

We always do. My Mom travels alot as she is retired, and the whole family has started to use a limo service that she uses.
The one we use is a family run business and really resonable.
I live in the east end, more than your 25 minutes away and he charges me 50.00 bucks. So I would imagine yours would be cheaper.
Last year when I took my son to Disney, all the cars were busy and we lucked out and got a stretch with a bar and tv for the same as a town car. For for son who at the time was 4 and a car fanatic seeing a BMW stretch was priceless.
I would be happy to provide you with the number if you wish. Just let me know.
Send a pm

Sounds a bit steep.
We take a stretch limo from Oshawa to YYZ and its $115.
(BTW.....I think it would be less than 25 mins because we are 45 mins from Oshawa)

Ok so who do you use?

Mil has had a few quotes so far and $115 seems to be the cheapest with $150 being the most expensive. Not sure who she's contacted but I will have to find out.

Are you also planning on the limo for your trip home after your holiday?

My friend has a limo company. He is based in Oakville. I have no idea what he would charge you but if you want his number PM me.
