Limo to PHL

They are not as cheap as Rapid Rover, but I'd rather pay extra and have a direct route to and from the airport. We are paying $165 RT including taxes and tip.

That is a great price.... A Kings Limo quoted me at $265.00 for the RT.

Hey all you Washington Twp, SJ people. I work at your Hospital!!! Stay healthy!!!! We also have used the offfsite parking lots. We can usually get a coupon from AAA. They seem to be much faster than the airport parking.

WOW! Seems a bit high for a limo to Philly. How many are in your party? Could you all fit in a Towncar?

I can't remember what we paid for the stretch, but I don't think it was $265. Have you compared pricing and any of the other limo companies in the area?

I've checked around, the cheapest I got was Joeslimo.... for 175.00 plus tip for the RT.

I've got sometime to play around yet. I'll keep my ears open.

$175 is a heck of a savings from A-Kings. I've never heard of Joes Limo, but the price is good. Courious to see what their service is like. Where is Joes Limo located.

The above question is to the OP, but for us..after having our house broken into we didn't like leaving the driveway empty for a week. We'd rather leave our car parked at home and just take rapid rover to PHL.

My neighbor had an attempted break-in while away so another neighbor who has 2 cars parks in her driveway.
Also while 2 cars were parked in our driveway, (car and big P/U truck both w/car seats so they knew it wasn't some elderly person living there) someone broke into my car (smashed glass) and used the electric garage door opener to open the garage. At the time we used to leave the small door unlocked, so they walked right into our house. They stole my son's Game Cube (yes, unplugged it from the LR TV!) a new Harry Potter movie that was on the kitchen counter, and some change from my purse. (didn't take any credit cards)
We never heard a thing and it sickens me to think someone was in my house and I never knew it. Thank God it was just some kids looking for games and not some pervert looking for children.
Needless to say, it's like Ft. Knox here now.
My point is, don't be lulled into security by the "car in the driveway" idea. If someone really wants in, they will find a way.

We live in Wenonah. Three used ago we used Advatage Limousine (located in Oak Valley - 415-7600) for our trip to PHL which required a 5:30AM pick-up, but did not use them coming home. My DFIL used our van to pick us up at the airport instead. I have heard that a car dealership offers parking services for $5 a day and they bring your car to you upon arrival. They advertise in the Inquirer.

We use Colonial Parking in Essington, which is just south of the airport. You park your car and their shuttle picks up right at the rear of your vehicle and then drops you at whatever terminal. When you return simply call their 800 number from baggage claim and in about 5 to 10 minutes, sometimes less if the shuttle is already at the airport, they pick up in the shuttle area of airport which is pretty much right outside Baggage Claim E. Prices are about $8.50 per day, with a coupon from their website. Their facility is completely fenced, well lit, and open 24 hrs day.

So I get the best rate I can for the holiday inn in essington, arrive the night before, park,sleep,fly - parking is 25$ over the cost of your room, for up to 10 days. Last couple of years it cost me 125$ to do that... I always miss the free breakfast too - but I love landing in orlando at 9:30am, checking in and then hitting the parks by noon

While you're in essington...go over to McDade Blvd. and eat at Nifty Fifties! You'll LOVE it!

We park at the Ramada Inn in Essington, PA. and use their Park N Jet. Only 10 minutes or so from the airport.
They have a fenced in lot and it cost $8.95 a day but you can print out a coupon to get $1 a day off.

You can get directions from their website (they are just 2 minutes off of I95) very easy to get to.
They will take you to the airport in their shuttle bus or van. Thay also have a Ramada Inn phone at the airport you use to get picked up on return.
I've used them 5 times and never a problem. Plus it is away from a lot of traffic.
It's a lot cheaper than a limo.

Just wanted to update the thread..... We did use Advantage Limo and they were great...... professional etc....

We will use them again in a heart beat.

So if your looking for a good Limo Service from the Area, I'd recommend Advantage Limo.

I have used Winner Airport Parking (airportparkingreservations.com) . I too was leary about leaving my car & keys with someone. I have used them 3 times so far and the service is fantastic. For an extra $10 you can leave right from the airport. The do shuttle you to the airport in your own vehicle and you leave your keys with them. The do photograph your entire vehicle before you leave. I just parked for 8 days and paid $63 and that includes the $10 to leave directly from the airport. My van was there (and heated) within 10 minutes of my call after I got all of my luggage.
