I've been doing research and have some quotes already but I'm curious to know if any of you have used a limo service from LGB to GCH. I'm not necessarily concerned about cost....I can work that out on my own. I'm mostly concerned about service. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use Harold's limo service from LGB to DL every year :) GREAT service, great guy. Highly recommended

Thanks for the info. I've heard about Harold and I'll definitely look into his services. :) Can't wait.

I swear you're copying my trip! LOL :rotfl2:

First, its the same dates from the same airport...then it's the exact same flights on the same airline...then it's the same hotel, now you're looking into a limo too? LOL

I'm using American Limo, it's $86.25 each way (all inclusive including tax and tip) and the limo can hold up to 10 people. I used their service on my trip in September and got a nice black stretch limo. My girls were in awe. The limo was nice and the driver was great!

Maybe our families should ride together and we can split the cost...

BTW...I'm, just kidding with you about copying me...I think you actually had your trip booked before I booked mine. ;)

Please oh Please stay away from Alexis Limo!!! Used the service in early Sept and they quoted one price and charged another..... When I tried to call I was directed to billing and they let you leave a 15 sec message that is never returned. When you email they just tell you basically too bad, done deal.
Again don't use Alexis Limo

Ha ha caimakale!!!!! :rotfl2: So odd that we are booking identical trips. However, you can officially stop worrying that I'm stalking you. We have to change our flights. My DH has experienced some changes at work (good changes) and the flight times we have just are not going to work. :( So, we may end up on Delta rather than JetBlue which is a bummer because we love JetBlue. Fortunately, though....his company is paying all costs we will incur. We have nonrefundable tickets so they will just pick up the cost of our new tickets. We're definitely flying into LGB, though. Annoying but I'm glad we aren't canceling the entire trip. :)

As for limo service...thanks for the recommendations, everyone. It's very much appreciated. We normally rent a car but NEVER use it other than transferring from airport to hotel and vice versa.....we decided a limo would be a blast for the kids! Can't wait. As soon as we figure out our flight situation, we'll be making phone calls for the limo!!!!!

Thanks for the tip. They aren't even on my list, nor did I find them in any of my searches. I certainly won't use them. Sorry you had problems. Hope your trip was fabulous, regardless of the bad limo service.

Your girls are adorable, by the way. :)
Thanks...that was their "wake up and throw something on" outfits. I just thought it was funny that our plans were identical. It was almost like we were planning them together. What do you expect though...both of us use these forums to plan and strategize and are obviously seasoned DL planners, it really shouldn't be much of a surprise that our trips were so similarly planned.

That's too bad that you won't be on the JetBlue flight...hopefully the changes don't detract from your time in the parks. If history repeats itself, the parks will be open until 11:00 on Wednesday night. I'm hoping to land, go the hotel, check-in and then go to the parks for a few hours...I'm not sure if you had similar plans or not.

If they are paying for the changes to book a new flight, I would recommend flying into John Wayne (SNA) if there is a flight that meets your needs. Delta has several direct flights from SLC into SNA. It's a nice/small airport and is closer to the parks. The limo company I mentioned above will transport you for $75 each way (at least that's what we were charged in September) from SNA to the GCH.

Well, they're cute regardless of what they are wearing. I can't imagine having three girls. We have two boys and a girl and I swear the girl is going to be the death of me. We adore her, though.....can't imagine not having her. ;)

Yes, it is quite comical. It would have been fun to have been on the same flights. We are also looking into SNA. DH just loves LGB for how small it is...he's not ready to commit to changing to SNA just yet. I have a feeling we'll be flying into LGB, regardless. We'll actually gain a day as DH has a new client in Anaheim (what are the odds....I'm hoping this means LOTS of Disney trips) that insists on him visiting that Wednesday afternoon (he's also going for a quick one day trip in a couple of weeks.....literally, he leaves at 5 something and returns at 11 something). So, we'll now either leave Tuesday night or first thing Wednesday morning (even though I really, really don't want to take the extra time off work...it's more work to make sub plans than it is to actually be there). The company he works through books all of their travel through a company account and it's actually cheaper for them to book us round trip rather than one way so both of our flights will change. I hate being up in the air with flights but at least I know our vacation isn't in jeopardy.

Anyhow - I'll definitely look into the limo service. I think I vaguely remember you mentioning where you're from....South of SLC somewhere? South/West Jordan? Herriman? Draper? Can't remember.

SNA is a small airport and is very easy to navigate. I've never been to LGB, but I too am a fan of smaller airports and absolutely love SNA.

We live in Riverton, waaaaaaaay out in Riverton. We are one street away from the Herriman city border. You're up north in near Roy right?

Where can I find info on Harold's Limo service? When I do a search, I can't find it.

I've flown into SNA on my own and I remember it being small. You'll be surprised at how small LGB is in comparison. Seriously.....it's so small.

North but not really near Roy. We are in South Ogden, right at the mouth of Weber Canyon. We are closer to Layton than we are to Roy. Although, I did used to teach in Roy.
