I am a fan of VoL, but sorry, this does not seem like anything really special to me. I am hopeful for something a little more "magical" while we are there the following week...

I thought the same thing. They already do multiple shows a day, so I am not sure what will make this different. I think Disney would have been better served by celebrating month long themes instead.

They will be performing in Epcot's American Gardens Theater.
(The same theater as the Candlelight Processional.)

Seats, sound system, special musical selections.

That will truly be magical. Instead of singing patriotic songs inside (in the air conditioning) they'll be singing patriotic songs outside (in the heat). Yay!

FWIW I have always found something very magical about the intimate setting where they usually perform. You can get up close and really SEE them and feel their singing. And the rotunda has a pretty killer "sound system".

I love them there, too.

And, we go to American Adventure specifically hear them perform at least 4 times per trip.

(And, yes, we do sit cross-legged on the hard marble floor.)
