Limited Resort Availability

Greetings! My wife and I are looking to go to WDW 12/2/25-12/5/25 for a quick trip to enjoy the Christmas decorations. The only resort option we are are seeing for that time is a suite at Coronado Springs. I'm confused because all the crowd calendars generally agree that those dates should be a "slow" time for WDW. I'm looking to you experts to share any insight on what I am missing. Thanks!

I get the same results using a Passholder Discount search. When moved to room only I was able to get a wide range of rooms.

No early December is no longer a "slow" period, and it has not been since before 2021. Like @HopperFan I tried a quick search and got All-Star Sports in addition to multiple matches in Coronado Gran Destino Tower.

It might be easier to find your resort options by adjusting your dates slightly. For example try Dec 1 -4.

I have DVC and go many times that week. It’s hard to get, DVC will sellout the popular rooms at 11 months. Crowds have never been bad, I think more people want to stay onsite for the Christmas decorations, versus offsite. Pop Warner used to be that week, but they have moved away from WDW (this year Charlotte).

Yep, I have a long trip for the first week and a half of December. I go during that time frame most years, and this is the worst discounts I've ever seen. I actually booked the Dolphin back in June with a nice AP discount, figuring discounts would drop through WDW, but there's almost nothing. I'm happy I booked when I did, there's nothing available now at Swan/Dolphin for early December.

Update: We revised our dates and we are now going 11/12-11/14. That opened up some availability at resorts, still allows us to do MVMC at MK and get us ready for the holidays. Thank you for everyone's input.
