Limitations on DHS shoot?

DF and I are scheduling our in park session for DHS. One thing we were trying to figure out is what kind of limitations they had on where you could take pictures within the park. We are huge Muppet, Star Wars and Indiana Jones fans. One shot we had in mind was the two of us inside Muppets Theater or on the stage in the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Are these shots even possible? Thanks for any feedback anyone might have.

The limitations usually involve how much time you have — there may not be time in 1-hour shoot to, say, go from TOT over to Streets of America and hit Indy too. The other limitation would be if something like the Muppet Theater is not open yet. But definitely ask your DPS contact about it. She will let you know what's possible.

Thanks, I emailed Dara. There are things we would easily sacrifice in order to do the things we really want to do. I have never ridden the Tower of Terror, so would easily choose Muppets, Indie and Star Tours over that one.

We did our anniversary shoot at DHS and we really wanted pictures inside Toy Story Mania which we were able to get. We were able to go to TOT, RNR, Streets of America, TSM, outside the Muppets and the backlot. Amy drove us from one side of the park to the other so there is defintely time to do it all if you plan accordingly. Just speak with Dara and once they assign you your photographer go over what you want with them.

My email from Dara says no pictures inside attractions, but we know that they do pictures inside Tower of Terror. So confused. Steve was wondering if the lobby is not considered part of the attraction.

That's strange. We also have pics inside the TOT lobby. Unless it changed in the past year or they mean that you can't take pictures on the actual rides but in the cues and waiting areas it's ok? Your best bet is to wait until you get your photographer and talk with them.

That is my plan Stephie. We figure at least if we can't get exactly what we want that maybe when the photog gets an idea of what we are looking for then maybe they will have suggestions of alternatives.
