Has anyone ever approached someone wearing lime green - assuming they are a Diser - only to find out they thought you were crazy?

What do you say when you approach someone?

Without even thinking about it - and maybe even prior to actually posting on here - I bought a lime green outfit (capri's and jacket), I have lime green luggage tags (from a few years ago), my daughter and I have both bought lime green striipped tank tops.........so if someone approaches me - I'll understand. BUT, I would still be wearing this stuff even if I didn't know about it and wonder what in the world they were talking about. :p

I'm bumping this because no one has answered this yet, and I was wondering the same thing myself!! Any answers out there?

I just went to Home Depot and picked up the Disney lime green paint sample cards. They are in the shape of mickey heads and are peel off stickers which I will place on my back pack or shirt.

I would be timid to approch someone just wearing the color lime green in their clothing, since that is a popular color right now. However, I would feel pretty confident if someone had the stickers. (the color is actually listed as alien green)

Like the idea for the mickey head, and anyone can pick one of these up at Home Depot! I'm gonna go get myself one!

Pick up a bunch - they are FREE samples. Lots of suggestions for their use - one I'm doing (and found from another thread) is to make luggage tags out of them - laminating them to make them stronger.

Also thought about taping a few on my window at ASMo - with my screen name on it - "in case" someone might recognize it (?)

When my DH and I were in EPCOT in October, there was a family there that opened the park that day. They all had on Lime green polo shirts and white shorts/skorts. It was a large family....like 8 kids and 4 adults...2 of which were grandparents. We ended up behind them in line for Test Track. I finally got to where I could ask the Mom if they were Dis'ers. She looked at my funny and I said, "Do you visit the site wdwinfo.com?" She said, "No. Why?" I explained the lime green and she laughed. She did say she visited Mousesavers alot.
Anyway, it doesn't hurt to ask and you never know who you might meet! We'll be wearin' o' the green!

You can peel them off if you are careful, but they are not stickers. You would have to apply some sort of adhesive yourself.

I took two Mickey heads cards (left them on the card to be sturdier), glued them back to back, put my screen name on one side and DIS Board Member on the other. Then I had it laminated at Staples. I will put a hole through one side and attach it to either my purse or backpack with lime green ribbon.

I just got the DIS lime green luggage tags and the pen that comes with the autograph book. I guess I need something visible for when I'm in the parks.

Maybe I should run over to Home Depot too. I could definitely put it on our backpack.

Can't believe how close I am!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just thinking about putting my screen name on one of my leftover Mickey heads - and taping it to my resort window.

My project for tonight is to turn them into extra luggage tags for each of my suitcases. Bought a pacage of laminate (that doesn't need a machine).

I could also hang one on the stroller - easily visible.
