Lime Green Ribbons

Since I joined the Dis I have been to Disney World about 5 times. I keep looking for those lime green ribbons everywhere I go in the parks but haven't spotted one yet. How about You?

Honestly the only time I ever spotted lime green was when I was there at DISCon. Otherwise I haven't yet. I won't give up hope though

No, not yet, but I am hoping to spot LOTS of lime green ribbon next week.

Had huge hopes of meeting up with fellow Dis'ers on our recent trip...12/7 thru 12/15....
Many posts of those staying at the AKL...WL...everyone was going to be sporting their ribbons....
Had a mini-meet planned in front of the Walt and Mickey statue following the MVMCP...of Thursday, December 12....(can you say TOTAL RAINOUT)????....but was still there...designated time...wore my lime green ribbon EVERYDAY....
NEVER....saw one the entire time............VERY DISAPPOINTING....I can understand wanting anonymity while on vacation...but I have to tell ya....I'm beginning to wonder if anyone....really "means it"...when they say they will be wearing their ribbons....

We were there during Dis-Con, but besides those .....I did spy one (it belonged to Tara) and one spied mine (that was HarleyChick).

When DH, DSs, and I went to WDW in May 2001 I did see 2 other DISers but it had nothing to do with the ribbons. (One person I met during Cindy's breakfast; we each knew beforehand that we had ressies at the same time. She had a huge lime green ribbon thing on her backpack. The other DISer I met totally by coincidence because my DH recognised her DS from a local store, and I asked her if she was indeed from MA. After chatting a bit we discovered we were both DISers. LOL HI RANDI!! ).

When I went in February 2002 I did see MANY, MANY lime green shirts, hats, bandanas, etc. but I had no idea if those people were DISers or people who just happened to be wearing lime green. LOL I did see some lime green ribbon tied to a parked stroller, and I waited a minute or two to see if the owner of the stroller would turn out to be a DISer, but they didn't return and I didn't want to wait any longer.

I had lime green ribbons on my camera case and waistpack, but looking back, they were really short pieces of ribbon that were probably hard to see by anyone else. Next time I go, I have some HUGE lime green ribbons I'm going to attach SOMEWHERE on myself

Yep! We saw several Lime Green ribbons at Disney. I even got a nice chat in with Aprille on the bus from Epcot in November of last year

I wore one and had one on both my strollers in Sept but I didnt see any Disers. I did see lots in Dec during Dis con.

I saw gobs at DISCON and another time saw a DIS sweatshirt.

I personally don't wear one - Lime Green is NOT my color. Now GREY, on the other hand....

None so far . I do wear LIME GREEN underwear at WDW .....

I've never seen any either, but I'm not giving up hope, I think it would be so cool to spot one!

I guess I should weare my Lime ribbon when I go to WDW (and I go all the time). At least then someone might spot me!
