Lime green Mickey's are ready and waiting

Okay I have my lime green mickey heads from Home Depot all ready and laminated and ready to be worn. They even have my DIS name on them so you'll know who I am. They were laying on the counter the other day and my DS saw them.

DS: Mom, isn't that the name you use on those boards?
Me: Yes
DS: What's it doing on those green mickey's?
Me: Those are for me to wear.
DS: Ummm, when?
Me: At Disneyworld of course.
DS: (with a look of horror) Mom, please tell me you are not going to walk around Disneyworld with those things hanging from your neck?!
Me: Yup, you better believe it.

Oh my poor DS, he is just mortified that I would embarrass myself and him like that. But it will all be worth it if I meet up with even one other DISer. So if you see a goofy looking momma with a silly grin on her face and a very embarrassed 10 yr. old next to her trying to hide, that's me!!

Good for you! I just went to Home Depot and got a few myself. I will be wearing mine proudly from Dec 2-9!!!!

I got some too. We made luggage tags and put the lime green Mickeys on them. They came out cute, and the kids had fun making them. They too wnated to know what the deal was with the "alien green" Mickey's.

We leave today!!! Can't wait....I'm sitting in my office at work waiting for the calm before th storm. I have a ton of things to do this morning but decided to take a few minutes to myself before all the nuts come in.

We leave the day after Thanksgiving, but are driving so we won't actually check-in until the 27th. Then we are there until Dec.4. Can't wait!

If you ride Tower of Terror look for mine. Somehow when riding that last week, my Mickey head came off and I haven't seen it since. It might have been because my camera bag was against the side of the elevator and must have snagged on it.

I made one for me (for my camera bag) and one for my mom (to go on her wheelchair) - mine says "Proud Dis Member - MissBubbles" and my mom says "Proud Dis Member - MissBubbles mom".

We'll be the crazy women with holiday hats with garland & lights on them from Dec. 27-Jan 1. Hope to post pics here after the trip.

May I ask exactly what these are? I thought they were some sort of paint chip cards? What is the Mickey head? I had planned on going to pick some up for luggage tags and such and could easily use at parks for recognition. We'll be there 12/4-12/14. Anyone have a pic? Does Lowe's have them, also, or just Home Depot?

It took me a long time to be able to ge my green mickey heads at Home Depot...everytime I went they were out. I picked al whole bunch of differet colors so I can use them when I scrapbook this trip.

I wonder how long before Home Depot puts them under lock and key

I will be wearing a somewhat small lime green Mickey (clip with beads) that I made. I also made a couple extra incase I bump into another DIS'er that wants one. I worked on them for about an hour last night and my DH thought I was kinda crazy to do this. Who cares! It makes me feel good that others love WDW like I do! See ya there Nov.29-Dec.3

I will be happily wearing my lime green Mickey heads from Nov, 29 - Dec 6. PLEASE SAY HI!! This will be my first trip as a DISer (though not my first trip). I really want to meet some fellow DISers. Mine will have my DIS name on them. DH is too embarassed to wear one, though. Maybe I will make some for DDs that say "Lorlovesstich's daughters! Hope to meet some of you soon!
