Following on from a thread I saw on here last week, is a Lime Green Mickey Head an "official" identifier for UK DIS'ers?

I think that is such a cool thing and with the fact that there are quite a few DIS'ers heading across in September, I would love to get in on the fun (room, hire-car, baby's buggy etc) and get spotted by other DIS'ers in and around WDW.

So, where can we get these Mickey Heads from and how do you display yours??

Hi
Most DIS'ers use the lime green Mickey Heads to identify themselves, or wear anything Lime green, when walking around the parks.
They pick them up from Home Depot (the equivelent of B&Q) as the Mickey Head represents a Disney paint colour so is like a colour swatch.
I would probably cut a template from some green card but Ican't be any more helpful as how to display them as I am not that creative - sorry.
I have seen fellow DIS'ers wear their DIS name on a badge though.

You may not see as many lime green Mickey heads in the future at WDW because Home Depot is doing away with them. They claim they are too expensive to keep in stock since so many people take them just because they are shaped like a Mickey head. They are actually paint samples. If people have to make them for themselves, I believe there will be fewer displayed.

You can try print these, or they are easy to make.

Oooh, thanks for those wayneg, they are the perfect size. :thumbsup2 Will have to get myselg some snazzy lime green card now!

I used this (see below) and I laminated them and then used them on the buggy and when we rented a stroller used them as they were easier to spy. Meant to put one in my window as well as attatching one to my rucksack but I wasn't that organised.

I've got some fridge-magent printer paper (basically, its just thick cardboard with a fridge magnet that you can cut), so might make some of these and stick them on the doors and/or bonnet and/or boot of my hire car !!!!
