Lime green Mickey at Home Depot!!

We were in Home Depot paint department the other day when my oldest DD spotted a lime green Mickey!!! It is in the Disney paint section and is the shape of Mickey.............lime green too!!

She took a few to put on our suitcases so we can find ours better this summer...................I will also tag one onto my backpack while walking the parks...........

Not new at all. A few months ago there was a run on those little lime green, anything close to lime green, mickey heads. Most were out quickly.
They must had restocked. We were wondering at the time if they stocked up on lime green paint because of it.

I used one the past two trips with my DIS name on it, and I wore it every day. Lots of cast members commented on it, but I never saw another DISser!

Maybe they wised up and realized they weren't selling the paint but the samples kept disappearing so it became cost-effiecient to stop providing those samples?

Plenty of those samples left at our Home Depot. I believe that I was the first DISers who posted something about this. I found my original post (dated March 28th, 2003):

O.K. John, I will give you credit!!! LOL!! I was just so excited I saw them, wanted to share with my friends!! DH tries to keep me out of Home Depot as much as possible because I always find something new that needs to be done!!!

My store DID have plenty but we took a few...................quite a few!!!

And yes, WAY too much time at cheerleading now with all 3 DD's involved!!!

BTW, hope your leg is doing better John...

I remember that mentioned a few months ago. I asked one of the Behr paint reps once if they track the samples taken to judge what colors are popular. He said they might but he had no idea if they did that or not. I would imagine they could do that better by tracking the amount of tint used.

I use these for Scrapbooking all the time!! They are great!

Actually, I shouldn't take credit. It was my wife Sue that saw them that night at Home Depot.

BTW - The leg and ankle are doing much better, but I still cringe every time I see that photo of your daughter in your signature.
