Anyone stay at this resort?

Is it in Kissimee or Winter Garden?

Is it really way off the beaten path?

How are the villas and pools and how is that water park they talk about. Is it big and beautiful or just for small children?

Thanks
Joanna

it has not gotten good review on tug - except by the owners

"it is a gated commuity w/moderate size rooms"

it seems to have several slides - so I would think kids would like it

the timeshares sales pitch have their guest using the pool - so the guest of the resort were not able too - always a bad situation

It is in Lake Buena Vista - not Kissimmee or Orlando - this is the WDW address

here is a website

spiceycat...What do you mean by the guests of the resorts weren't able to use the pool? because The timeshare sales pitch have their guest using the pool.

Thanks
Joanna

yes - that is what one of the reviews say that they were doing -

she was very upset about it - they had traded to this resort for the pools and their child did not get to use the one close to them because outside guest were using it.

I think these are the same size as BWV or BCV or VWL - they are alot smaller than say OKW or the Marriott - but I also got the idea that aren't as nice.

It got a 7.67 (this includes the owners)

all of the DVC resorts are in 9 and most of the Marriott (a few high 8 - but mostly 9)

you get a score of 1.00 to 10.00 - 10.00 being the best place you have ever traded (or stayed) at and 1 being the worst.

for an Orlando timeshare this is a pretty low score - there are several lower.

About the pool situation, I belive that there are several resorts that all are a part of Island One, and they all have access to the polls at Liki Tiki. Found that out when I was looking up Orbit One.

I guess what they were saying was that the pools at Liki Tiki get overloaded w/ all these people from outside resorts coming over.

We stayed there in October 2002 for 8 days
The one bedroom we were in was just fine for our family of 3.

The smaller one bedroom with the fenced in "patios, balconies" I can not attest to how nice they were or not.

Our tub had jucuzzi jets and the unit had a stackable washer/dryer(very nice amenty)

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially after check-in, when I discovered that the master bed was softer than oatmeal.

Within an hour of check-in they changed out the mattress and boxspring and hauled off the old one. I sure made sure the manager heard praise on that one....

The regular pool had no restrictions on timeshare "people" using them as well as the water park. BTW the waterpark is very simple but very fun for children under the age of 10!! More advanced swimmers might get bored, but for all smaller kids it is a blast.

The timeshare presentation was exactly 90 minutes and not hard sell.

We look forward to going back again in 2004 and getting a fantastic rate(39.00) night. BTW you can only do one timeshare at a resort every 12 months.

If you have any other questions just fire away. My memory might be a bit hazy, since we just got back from a stay at Celebration World Resort at the beginning of July. So don't get mad if I mix up some of the details with my current trip.
