We stayed at the Liki Tiki Resort in Nov and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse and it was very nice. Very spacious and clean. The children's waterslide pool was a little bit of a walk away from our unit, but the adult pool and whirlpool were just in the back our our unit which was nice. We got a rate of $99/night. They did phone at one point to try and get us to attend a "presentation" and because of the boards had heard it was to do with time share. But I politely declined stating we had no time and the lady accepted that with no problems. The resort is just off 192 and is approx 15 mins away from Disney or less. It doesn't seem that far away as you are on the major roads, 192 and then take exit ramp into Disney area where all theme parks are located. Very accessible. I too was hesitant after reading reports on tripadvisor, but was very glad we decided to keep our reservation. Feel free to email if you have further questions.
