Hi,

We are planning a vacation to Disneyworld in April 2004 and we are interested in staying at the Liki Tiki Village Resort. Does anyone have any experiences with this resort or heard anything positive/negative about it? We have been looking for reviews, but have had difficulty finding much about this place. We will have 5 kids with us, ages ranging from 3 to 15 yrs and the waterpark looks really nice. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please use the search function and check the post by Jcanary back around July. I too posted on there and let me say that Liki Tiki was not a good choice for us. I think you should try and check out Wyndham Palms Golf and Country Club. They are wonderful and that is were we stayed after 4 disgusting days at the Liki. Oh and I actually wrote a letter with my concerns to the resort manager and recieved a form letter in return.
I would not advise anyone to stay there when there are so many cleaner and nicer choices for the same money. I am sure you are being lured by the "water park". Don't be it hardly qualifies as such.

Thanks for your reply. It is nice to get feedback from people who actually stayed at the resort. All the advertisements we have read say this is a 5 star resort and the pictures they have are beautiful, but the price is so low it made us wary. I just read your old posts on this resort, and we will surely take your troubles with it into consideration.

What you see and what you get are two different things that is the problem. They are not a 5 star resort even for the nicer rooms. That is the problem I had I was upset because I had almost booked my whole 14 days there and then when I got there I realized how close I came to almost ruining my vacation. The website is VERY deceptive.

I would truly recommend not going there also. there are so many choices that are 200% better, unless you can be guaranteed the two new buildings which should be better. The "water park" is a joke. We only walked thru it when we were discussing the sales pitch we had to listen to. My husband was disgusted with the place. And when he told the sales manager this, we were quickly shown the door. It was quite an experience that I don't want to repeat.
