Anyone ever heard of the Liki Tiki Village? Thanks.

Just saw the sign on our last trip in January...not a clue what it is, so will be interested in replys...I have seen or stayed at lots of places in the area and this one is new to me....the name caught our attention...sounds like and old boat, "The Leaky Tiki!!"...Ted

This used to be Isle of Bali. It has new management. We stay here every year and love it. They have a water park with water slides a shooting volcano. A bar with drinks and food by the pool, you could make staying here a vacation on its own....any question I will be glad to answer...

Hi Karel!

I sent you an e:mail instead off adding to the post, sorry! Like I said we loved it there! The kids had a blast! It's great for the kids especially the water park. You know how expensive that could be. We are a family of five and stayed there a couple of years ago. We stayed at Vistana Villages last year all I can say about that resort is beautiful. We we're afraid that the kids would break something but for families with kids..... Definetly Liki Tiki!!! In fact we're waiting on a confirmation for 5/5-5/11/03. :-) Very kid friendly!!!

Hope you go!!

Carol

Aside from the special promotional rates they offer if you sit through the timeshare presentation, where can you find the best rates for the Liki Tiki? It sounds like a wonderful resort for families and I'd be really interested in further info...thanks! :D

Thanks for your help! A friend is staying there and I was sort of worried because I had never heard of it.

This is for Local Girl.... and anyone else who wants info on Liki Tiki of course...

We confirmed our reservations for 5/5-5/11 We will be staying at a 2 bedroom high rise w/jacuzzi for $497.00. Plus $20 GC for TGIF. They were throwing in two dinner tickets for the Pirates Show but We weren't interested. You'd get that too! The only thing he was able to give us was the gift certificate for $20. I spoke with Mr. Dan Findley at 1-800-851-3201 x 2107. He's pleasant to talk with. There is also a 11% resort tax which comes to $52.14 which you pay at check out. That's fine with us because we really love it here and so do the kids! My husband said Vistana Resort was actually offering a better deal because they were throwing in two park tickets but it was for 2 less nights. So, all in all, I'm sure it would come out to the same amount. We will be staying at Vistana Resorts next year. We're always looking for a deal! Oh, forgot to tell you. a one bedroom which sleeps up to five which has a pull out couch comes to $294.00 plus $32.34 resort tax total $326.00 for 7 days 6 nights. That's a good deal but hubby wants to be able to roam around when the kids are sleeping and no jacuzzi. You can check there website www.islandone.com but it looks like it hasn't been updatedin years. I didn't see a picture of the water park and the pool don't look like the picture at all.

Take Care

Carol

PS: Maybe we'll meet some new friends down there!! Like you!!!
:-)

Thanks very much for the detailed info, Carol! I may have to look into this resort for a future visit. Hope you and your family have a wonderful trip in May!! :D

Hi. These rates and the waterpark part sound very interesting. How does one get these rates? Are they for doing a timeshare tour? Thanks!

Your very welcome Local Girl and yes, you have to do a timeshare presentation.
