Liki Tiki phase 1 or 2

We're looking at Liki Tiki Village and I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between phase 1 and phase 2. Has anyone been that knows the difference? Is there a certain building or area we should request? We want to be close to the pool and the paddle boat rentals.

Do all (2 bedroom) units have whirlpool tubs? Do all units have washer/dryer?

Yes, also looking into the possibilities of exchange through II to stay here in August. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews, so looking for some input.
