Hiya

We are considering staying at either liki tiki resort or bahama bay resort in november 2011

I was just wondering if anyones stayed at either and if they were nice

our boys will be 2 and 3 then

thanks anna

I have stayed at both and loved both resorts, they are both quite far away from the parks Bahama Bay is the furthest.

I guess it depends what you are looking for, Bahama Bay is newer more luxurious and possibly for more adults. They have numerous pools and a sandy beach on lake davenport.

liki tiki had more of a family feel they have a small water park with slides and play area for youngsters. there is a fish tank in the recpetion area which im sure had an eel.

Room wise they are both well equiped, i presume you will have a two bed apartment, the master will have an ensuite and a very large bed at both resorts. At bahama bay the main bathroom only has a walk in shower but the ensuite had a small bath. liki tiki had a tv in both bed rooms a bath in both bathrooms (jacuzzi bath in en suite bathroom). Liki tiki has lifts but i'm unsure if bahama bay had lifts.

Hope this helps do you need any other information?

Haven't stayed at Liki Tiki but have stayed at Bahama Bay and MissBell, it doesn't have lifts, as this was an issue for us. The cons for us were the lack of lifts due to health problems and the distance being in Davenport. That being said I really liked Bahama Bay it was very peaceful and the condos were nice and spacious, I would definitely stay there again.

ahh no lifts isnt too good if we arnt on floor leval as we will have a big double buggy or two singles

Bahama Bay looks lovey - How would i go about booking it - direct or through a tour op?

Thank you

Tour operators use Bahama Bay, and I'm sure if you google it, you'll find you can book it independently too. I know VH have it.

Not having a lift would be a pain, but can I ask why you would need to take the buggy/buggies up to the room?

We never took ours out of the car after we got back to the condo at Windsor Hills.

That said if kids were asleep from the car trip we would carry them up to the condo and we wanted a lift for that.

Windsor Hills is very nice if you have never been there, our kids loved the condo. It has lifts :)

Although looking at both your options on the net they look lovely.
