So this year our budget will only allow POP century or Liki tiki resort ( 2 bedroom condo) they work out at the same price including parking at disney. Has anyone been to Liki Tiki? I would welcome comments. We just hated Pop last year and none of the other values are available for our vacation time. ( we generally dont like values at the best of times anyhoo) All I hear is the "got to stay on site" hype so Im not sure what to do. WE are getting a 2 bedroom condo for 90 a night...same as the spring back offer on at Disney right now. HELP! ( ps ...EMH dose not matter to us) thanks

I stayed at the Liki Tiki resort for the Christmas holidays in December 2010. The resort itself was nice. They had a cute little waterpark and other activities for the kids and the layout of the two bedroom suite was nice- full living room, bathroom, and kitchen downstairs and 2 bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs. BUT.......The rooms and the bathrooms were not very clean. Although my kids enjoyed it I would never stay there again.

You would also check out wyndham bonnet creek. Check out the prices on ebay and look in the we looooove bonnet creek thread.

We have stayed at Liki Tiki many times. The prices are great, love the extra space in having two rooms, always had accomodating staff, kids loved the water park and really like that there is a Publix and Walgreens just down the street. We were just there in February and there is now a Super Target, Applebees, TGIF, Longhorns and Bahama Breeze withhin one mile.

We have never had a problem with cleanliness...maybe we were just lucky when we visited. I should also say that we do enjoy that it is a fairly quiet and and laid back feel to the resort. We have been very successful in requesting newly renovated rooms which have really nice upgrades.

Good luck with your decision. We stay on Disney property only when there are GREAT deals not to be passed up or we are taking a mini-trip and don't want to rent a car.

Have fun planning.

I have stayed here twice. Once in a one bedroom unit and once in a two bedroom unit. We also never had any issues and our condos were clean. I'm a neat freak so a dirty condo would so have me up at the office asking to move units. My children really enjoy the small water park here.

The only down sides to the place, in my opinion, is the whole you have to go checkin at the other desk to get your parking pass where they try to rope you into the timeshare breakfast deal. I just firmly say no and turn off my phone in the unit so they don't call me to bug me about it. I have my cell so anyone who would need me would call that anyway. They also require a cash security deposit if your not paying with a credit card. If you are paying via a bank card or credit card they do put a hold on it and it may take a few days to get it of once you check out. Call the resort to get details on amounts.
