Likelihood of special Frozen activities being extended?

So--urgh!--we are in the midst of planning a trip to Disney and I just saw the latest about the special Frozen activities that will be taking place this summer--special parade processional, shows, fireworks, etc.--but that are set to start July 5 and end Sept 1. Of course, we booked months ago and are arriving in Orlando on Sept. 5. So, this question is for the experienced Disney-goers--what's the likelihood the Park will extend these special activities? My daughter's will kill me (I might just kill me!) if we miss these special activities! Do you think that some of these activities will be retained for a few days later or will all of it be axed as scheduled? Thanks!

Not sure but we arrive on Sept 10th and I really hope they extend the Frozen stuff at DHS. I think it will be a hit due to the movies success and I can see it really bringing in more business to DHS. I'd love to see something more permanent added too, but this would be a great start.

You and me both! My daughters are obsessed with Frozen (we are still watching it on a weekly basis here with daily Frozen singalongs and YouTube parody video viewings) and I was already concerned about meeting and greeting them, given the enormous wait times that people had experienced this spring. But, I figured we'd have a better chance to see them given that we aren't going until September and that the Park would do something to make the Frozen folks more accessible to a greater number of guests. Yup--here it is and it's scheduled to end 4 days before we arrive!

We don't arrive until end of September and I too am hoping Frozens visit to DHS continues!!

They've had other special stuff in the summer and I don't think they've ever extended it.

I hope they do with this, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. We are there in October.

I don't think anyone can give you any kind of answer. It would really just be a guess if anyone did.

I figured as much, but I was hoping that someone who has been there many times might have had an experience of similar events being extended. As much as I hope some of these activities are still going on, I'm planning as if they aren't. Irritating, though--as we had hoped to go to our time-share resort a week earlier but it was already booked! Whaddaya gonna do?

They usually don't extend the summer special events, but who know how the popularity will effect that decision. The longer it stays fresh, the more $$ they make. It also should increase the traffic to HS and spread the crowds a little bit, which was probably the goal of the events.

We will be there late August and will now plan a little more time at HS, already doing the Villians Unleashed event.
