Likelihood of adding AM EMH

Hi everyone,

What is the likelihood of them adding AM EMH to the Magic Kingdom on a day they have PM EMH?

We are looking into booking our trip in mid/late August and trying to decide on our exact dates. One thing that might sway our decision on when to arrive is EMH. Our initial plan was to arrive August 16th, which currently only has PM EMH. With 3 small children we wouldn't use those on our arrival day. However if there was a good chance of them adding AM EMH that day, we might change our arrival date to the 15th so we could take advantage of them on our first full day. We want our first full day to be at MK. The reason to stick with the 16th is that it would give us more days the following week, where we would anticipate the crowds being lighter. (7 crowds vs. 5 crowds in 2016).

So do they add AM EMH on days that they schedule PM EMH. Or is there little to no chance of that so we should stick with our original plan.

I have only seen them do a.m. and p.m. EMH around the bigger holidays like Christmas-New Years week. Other than that, I have either seen a.m. or p.m. EMH. Never both.

yea it has been a while since WDW has done both AM and PM emh on the same day.

One park will have AM emh, another park will have PM emh

Thanks everyone! Maybe it was the case way back in the 90s when I went a couple of times as a teenager, and that's where I got the thought from. Seems like something I can just put out of my head.

They may (or may not) move opening to 8am but it wouldn't be EMH...it would be open for the general public.

In my experience, there will be AM EMH in one park and PM EMH in another.
