After 2 years being out of Walt Disney World we went back:
First the gripe!!!
Really really really dislike the new fast pass system... why did they take something that worked really well and mess it up? We spend more time in line instead of in the gift shops... least $$$ we ever spent at Disney souvenirs.... Arrived at noon at the parks and the major attractions were already sold out on those passes... we always had a chance with the old system. This is enough of a reason to really rethink another Disney vacation. I wish the magic bands were available for off site users.
Disappointed with the new Fantasyland... although we didn't see BOG since the line was very long but hit the Ariel attractions (loved loved that). Belle's castle looked very unimpressive (especially compared with the Harry Potter castle at Universal). Really bummed that the new coaster wasn't open yet.. are they working at a snails pace? LOL!
The highlight of the trip was that Epcot's Test Track... that was Amazing! We didn't mind waiting in the lines because the kids could build thier own cars. I hope Disney refurbishes more rides to use the cards...
Overall I don't think there is enough changes going on here to keep me paying $2K just for tickets every year.... I think it may become an every other year destination for us. Even my wife a die hard Disney fan agrees.
Now I'm thinking Disney cruise or even Disneyland for next year
PEACE!
