Lightsaber Question

I was invited to the CM preview event on August 7. We are doing Smugglers Run and the lightsaber building. Do the lightsabers come apart for easy shipping?

From what I've read (I won't get to build mine until next year) the blades come off, so you have a handle and a blade and a case to figure out how to get home.

Yes, of course, but the case with all of it put together is usually too large to ship as one unit easily. To break it down into smaller units to pack, I wanted to list the individual pieces that would need to be packed.

Most people just take it as a carry-on or their personal item when they fly home.

This is confirmed in a number of threads and in the Savi Sticky.

Closing so buyers don’t think it needs to be taken apart.
