At MGM today. when we arrived we were surprised and pleased to find that the new "Lights, Motors, Action" stunt show would have preview performances. We attended the first show at 12 and they offered 2 more later in the day. We both use handicap seats and you are required to use an elevator to get up to the second level. Since there are only 2 elevators, it takes a little bit of time getting in and out. This attraction will be on your "must see" list for sure. MGM has set this up as a "fast pass" show and even today we had to use it to get in so plan accordingly. As AP holders, we did not receive any advance info on these preview performances. The regular run begins on May 5th.

Sounds like a fun attraction. I am looking forward to seeing it. :wizard: About how long did the show last?

We just returned from a trip & were able to see a preview of this show also. It lasted about 30 or 35 minutes, but they are in the "rehearsing" stages right now, so they show could be a little shorter when it "officially" opens.

It was an awesome show. :earsboy:

All I can say about the stunt show is WoW!!!! We went yesterday and loved it. It was about 35 mins and they ran straight through. Run don't walk to this attraction.

We saw the show too last Monday, it wasn't advertised as open, but a CM in a store DTD told me to check and see if anything was going on. We got fast passes for the 12pm show and it lasted about 30 mins. It was a fantastic show, very cool. My mom said it was better than Indiana Jones and until we went to this show, she said Indiana Jones was soooo incredible. It's definitely a must see, it's a VERY big stadium though and when we saw it, it was packed.

We went on 4/1 when it was 87 degrees. I'm in fairly good physical shape but it got my attention climbing up the steps -- very high. They have fans but still very hot.

In addition, it takes time after the show to get out... like a college football game when eveyone stays until the end.

Very exciting show...

My husband will be so thrilled to see this show when we go go. he like anything with cars....his favorite movies are the Fast and Furious. So this is right up his alley !!

When this officially opens, does anyone know what the schedule will be like? Is it shown once a day or is it shown several times throughout the day.

Thanks!

Hi jeffn5631! :wave2:

We were at the same show as you were---fell into by accident almost and LOVED it!!! On the daily schedule it said you could pick up fastpasses for it, so while the kiddos sat and waited for my dh to clear security (I left him to deal with the stroller for once) I ran over and picked up tickets for the noon show. We sat in the first row, a little to the left and could see great, even though my dh was worried it would be an obstructed view.

Our middle ds has always been a Herbie car fan, so that part was neat as well. When I was little I remember getting to go to Groman's Chinese Theatre in LA and seeing Herbie put his tire prints into cement. He runs in the family....

The show was listed for 3 showings while we were there. It's going to be very popular I think. :moped:

This is good to see they are having more than one showing now. I know people were first reporting one showing at 3 PM. I am really glad they opened up the testing to the public. Can't wait!

Like they say, it is a small world.....I imagine they will be like "Indian Jones" and have about the same number of performances......are you going to the "Sorin" perview on the 15th? Will have to think about that one....just can't take to much excitement and thrills.

We will actually be there May1-5 I hope they are still doing the show early in the week or we will have to go back the last day. Has anyone found out if there are any power ranger meet and greets yet.

There was a Power Ranger meet and greet at the end of NY street last week. That will probably be where it is located.

I think the part of this show I liked the best is when a person out of the audience was asked to "drive" a car by remote control. This had a big surprise....but I will never tell.

We saw this show last week and it is awesome. Kudos to the drivers who must have rehearsed forever to have the precision, timing and thrills so perfect. While our show was billed as a "rehearsal," it was flawless.

It's going to be by fastpass when it officially opens. Don't miss it!

We loved the show, too! It rocks! :)

However, we saw it Friday, April 1, when it was a humid, 90 degree day (unusually warm for april).

I cannot even imagine sitting in those stands during the summer!

I was highly unimpressed....from the slow loading to the actual stunts to the even slower unloading.

I read earlier today on Mouseplanet that there was an accident at the show last week. I thought they said something about the show being closed to previews until they get some more of the bugs worked out. Anyone has current info?
