Lights, Motors, Action! Stunt Show ?'s

For anyone who has been...how hard is it to get into this show? We will be there the second week of August and know that the park will be crowded. How often do they run the show and how early do you need to arrive. Is there a better time of day?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've seent the pictures and we this is on our "must do" list!

I would suggest that when you arrive in the morning, send a member of your party to go get fastpasses right away. I think there are only three shows each day: I know the first one starts at 1 pm, and the other two showtimes I'm not sure of -- maybe around 3:30 pm and 6 pm? I think if you get to the park by 4 pm, you should be able to get a Fastpass for the 6 pm showtime. But I would highly recommend that if you are in the park in the morning, get a Fastpass for the 1 pm show.

We just got back last weekend and the show holds a LOT of people. We fastpassed the 1pm show twice, both times around 10am. I agree with Linda, get early. The nice thing about the fastpasses at that show is, you can get another fastpass right away. At the bottom of the ticket where it says you can get another fastpass at____, both times mine said the current time. I guess because it was so much earlier than the show, they don't want you to have to wait so long for another one...

We've walked in twice now on busy Saturday afternoons without a fast pass and without a problem. We could see fine from our seats, but they weren't front and center. That's probably the advantage to the Fast Pass. Last Saturday they were still letting people in after the show had started. The stadium is enormous!

It's an awesome show too - enjoy!

Thanks for all the info! For anyone who has been to the show...about how long is it? The show times are conflicting with my AR's both days we are in the park. One day we are in the park for the morning and have lunch at PT 50's at 1:00 and the other day we are in the park for the evening and have dinner at MM's at 4:50. Maybe I can schedule a later dinner and make the second show. Sure wish there was a morning show!!!

In my very honest opinion, I didn't love it. It was toooo long in my opinion-but I don't know how long exactly. Hopefully someone here can help w/ the length of the show. If the benches had a back on them, I may have enjoyed it a little more, because I would have been more comfy in the theather!

There were 3 shows yesterday--we got into the 3:55pm show, and arrived at the theather at 3:15pm, we were able to get good seats, but easily could have arrived later and still gotten in.

It rained ALOT yesterday, and be careful walking up the steps of the theater, VERY slippery! I was trying to balance myself and my sleeping dd and was sliding all over--so be very careful everyone! I feel bad for guests that have problems walking or bad knees could be dangerous.

We were w/ another family and their 6 year old DD LOVED the show, just wasn't my cup of tea!

It's about 35 minutes but you need to allow at least five minutes to get out of the stadium after the show, maybe even more depending on where you are sitting.

The first show has been at 1:00 since it opened on May 5.

It is hot, but even the earliest show is in the shade of the sun. I'm sure they took this into consideration when building the arena. Be sure and take a cold drink in with you - there are no vendors inside.

We were at MGM last Saturday and saw the 1:00 show. We also had a FASTPASS, but I didn't feel that it did us any good other than we didn't have to wait in line as long. No special seating at least not when we arrived which was about 15-20 minutes before the show started. We certainly would have been able to get in without it. However, maybe during busier times it would be more valuable to have FASTPASS.

My tip is to look for the seats that are by the fans. They had fans attached to posts that were blowing on the crowds. I was mad at my husband for climbing up so high when there were open seats down below. When I caught up with him, I started to ask him what he was doing and he pointed to the fan. Couldn't argue with that. It blew a nice breeze over us the whole time.

The theater holds 5000 (second largest theater on property) so you've got a pretty good shot, especially if you show up at least 15 minutes before or get a FASTPASS.

Another thing about the fastpass for the show.

If you just got a fastpass for R&RC (for example), you can still go immediately and get a fastpass for the car stunt show, even if the RRC fastpass says the next fastpass you can get is an hour later.

The fastpass system for the stunt show is separate from the rest of the fastpass system so it is not affected by whatever other fastpasses you have.

We had a fast pass for this show but what we learned was that even with a fast pass you need to stand in line for quite a while to get a good seat. We thought that the fastpass would get us right in but we had to climb the stairs to the top of the arena, anyway.

The fast pass for this attraction does guarantee you a seat but that's all.

It was an okay show. I probably won't see it again, though.
