Lights, Motors, Action, Stunt Show Rain

I was wondering if this show runs rain or shine. Rockin' Roller Coaster is only open for 2 of our 5 days, so I want to be in MGM one of those days, but if there is rain in the forecast for one of them, I want to make certain I can see Lights, Motors, Action as well. Thanks!

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I was wondering why RNR will only be open two days. When are you going? Thanks.

Lights Motors Action definitely closes in heavy rain. Been there, done that.LOL We waited and waited in hot, humid, miserable downpour for about an hour and they kept trying to do the show every break in the weather, but eventually cancelled it. They can't do the stunts in heavy rain - too dangerous. Also, not alot of air circulation in those stands. LOL

Heavy rain they delay the show but you should be Ok we're about to enter the dry season here in Orlando!

We saw Lights Motors Action twice last week. The weather wasn't good, and it had rained all day. The show went on despite the fact that there was a light rain. They did keep stating that it could be stopped at any time due to weather. Ironically, when we saw the show a couple of days later on dry pavement, there was a critical mistake, and one of the motorcycles collided with a car throwing the rider to the ground. The motorcycle landed on top of him. Needless to say, the show was cancelled. It was absolutely bizarre.

We had it cancelled due to a light rain once because the ground was so slick. This was early on in it's opening so they may have figured out how to operate with wet pavement now. But if it is raining, they will delay it.
