Has anyone heard anything about the new Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show at MGM or when its going to open? Sounds like a cool addition to MGM!! :earsboy:

I was wondering the same thing!! i was there last year when they were building it..it looked awesome.

Any reviews? :moped:

I'm wondering too. I hope it's not opening on 5/5. We will be ther on 4/30. I'd love to see it on our first day!

Does anyone even have a broad idea when it will open, if not a specific date? Will it be opened this summer or not until the fall?

It will be open by May 5th at the latest. This attraction is one of those that are included in the Happiest Celebration on Earth, which begins on May 5th. All those attractions will be open by that date, with each individual one having a possible soft opening earlier. princess:

Excellent! Thanks , Tinkerbelll, it's good to hear that everything is opening on time. :earsgirl:

LMA hopes to have its soft opening sometime in March. Target dates vary, but probably within the next two weeks or so.

Keep in mind that "soft opening" does not necessarily mean a full show schedule, nor can you count on having shows every day. It's simply a way to get the show in front of audiences in order to see if there are any changes that need to be made prior to the official opening day.

If you're going to be at the Studios starting about March 10, be sure to ask when you arrive if LMA is going to be performed that day.

I just posted a thread on this board that I found on another website with the dates listed of all the 50th Celebration activities. It lists the dates for Lights, Motors, Action! as Cast Previews will be April 6-7 and the Grand Opening will be May 4.

...and when we were taking the Backstage Tour they were practising for the Motors show. There are some big trucks, fast little cars and motorcycles. It looks really cool!

Official opening is May 5 but I've heard of soft opening around March 13

Do you have any information about Soaring and the new water ride at TL?

We'll be there April 22-30. I'm hoping we'll get to take in some of the new rides and shows during our trip.

We're not DVC members or AP holders.

We are going to be there March 13-17. I am hoping for a miracle! We were pleasantly surprised at MNSSHP on the 29th to get to see Stitch before his big opening, so I am really, really hoping!!!!

AP holders preview weekend is April 14/15/16 for Soarin'. Don't know how this might translate into a soft opening for the general public.

LMASS will be a fun addition to MGM. We saw the Disneyland Paris show last September and thought it was very good and exciting. Similar to Indiana Jones show but really great driving scenes. :cool1: Hope these Actors (excuse me, cast members) don't go on strike anytime soon!

MGM in the back corner where the Hunchback show used to be.....
