Traveling to DLP in 2 days!

Wondering if anyone has seen Lights Motors Action at both WDW and DLP. I've seen the WDW version many times and if it's not too different, then maybe it's an attraction to skip, since we'll only be in WDS for 1 day.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Hi we have seen both they are indeed the same.
I was disappointed as I wanted the WDW one to be better why I don't know ?
The backlot tour is much about the same too except the WDW has more stuff to look at after.
Only one day do the new ratatouille ride and crush first.

I agree, even though it's the original one I'd skip it if you only have one day for WDS and try to do the things that are unique to DLP.

They aren't anymore - general idea is the same, but so much has been cut from DLP that when you see the "shot" footage, you really notice what is missing now, it's weak compared to WDW :-/

I'd personally miss it as it will take a good hour and a half out of your schedule, and I would use the time to do other things :-)

Agree....it used to be a great show until the cuts were made. What were they thinking :confused3

I'd give it a miss.

The cuts were made due to the age of the stuntmen, it is now the same team that opened the show back in 2002. A lot of the younger guys have moved on to other things so only the original crew are left and they have being preforming the show for the last twelve years.

It's very physical work as you can imaging and as you get older you just can't put your body through those types of stunts and not expect injuries so a few of the more dangerous stunts were tamed down.

The good news is that they now have some new younger recruits and they are being trained up, so expect Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular to return to it's normal show soon.

That's great news....thanks for the info :thumbsup2
