Lights, Motor, Action ?

In the 5 or so trips I have taken since this show came to DHS, I have still never managed to see it. Now I am wondering whether DD (who will be a week shy of 2) will sit through it at all. I'm not too concerned with skipping it again, just trying to figure out GAD FP.

My 5yo and 8yo were bored by it and didn't sit still well at all, actually we had to leave before the show ended so they wouldn't bother the other people watching. That was just our experience, my 5yo normally has a hard time sitting still and doesn't sit through movies, but my 8yo usually does well.

We took DS2 here for the first time last week. I knew he would love the show because he loves cars. The hardest part for him to sit still for was the wait until the show started. We were in our seats about 15 mins before it started and he was bored. Once the show started, it held his attention the entire time. He really enjoyed it.

My 3 year old loved it. Us adults were bored to tears. I have seen it 3 times and that is 3 times too many. We skipped it last trip but DS has been talking about it so we will probably catch it this trip. I might beg DH to take him so I can go do some shopping. It is so so so booooooooringgggggggggg!!!!!

I thought the LMA show was very cool and enjoyable. My DH and DS10 aboslutely LOVED it!!! Definitely one of their favorite things.

Is it possible for DH to take DSS13 (and DSD8 if she wanted to), and you could something else with the baby (or DSD8 too), maybe playhouse disney or some princess thing, or honey i shrunk the kids play area, or even high school musical if they still have it - something the boys wouldn't miss anyway.

I don't think you would need fast passes for LMA show...

I took DS to the show at 20 months. He did not have an issue sitting thru it. He loved watching the action. The wait before was hard, but we had snacks to carry us thru that.

I have a DS9 and DS7...they both enjoy it. It is action packed and non stop. I think your 2 year old will enjoy it. It is a little loud...so your 2 year old is scared of louds noises then that might be a problem.

We have watched this show 3 times in the last 5 years.

The first time we took my boys they were 4 and 6 and LOVED it. My DS 4 talked about it for a looonnnnnggggg time.

It was one of the coolest things we did at Disney and all of the kids loved it. I don't know how a 2 year old would fare though.

It's really, really loud and the bit with the fire freaked my 3 yo son out. If you want to see it- sit in the back and bring a snack to entertain your daughter.

We have four kids ranging from 5-13. We all loved it so much! And my 3 youngest are girls. We were really doing it for my 13 yr old step son, and I figured the girls would be ok with it. They loved it too! I would love to see this again when we go back this year.

BUT..... I really don't know if I would do it with a 2 yr old. Maybe if I had older kids that wanted to see it, but if it's just your 2 yr old, i'd skip this time around. There is a lot of waiting in the beginning and you don't want to wait to long to go in, plus if it's hot, it's a long wait in the beating sun. Luckily we did this show early in the day ,but we were still very hot. At one point, there is fire, and the blast of heat was a killer there for a minute! I guess that depends on where you're sitting. Just sit up a little higher if you do decide to go!
Maybe if you had drinks and something to entertain her she would be ok.

The first time I took my son he was 4 years old and loud noises and fire totally freaked him out. So, needless to say, he absolutely hated Lights, Camera, Action Extreme Stunt Show. He cried and we had to leave - the bursts of fire and crashing cars really upset him. He really started to like it when he was about 6 or 7. It just depends on the kid.

My DNiece did the same when she was 5. My parents said she was bawling and really upset she thought it was real.
She has not been back since(now 9), she told her parents she would not go... they go with it because no need for her to relive that experience.

We went with our 3 and all of them loved it. The 1st time we saw it we waited in line for 45 mins to get in to get a good seat (wanted the front row behind handicap) which we were able to get. We just brought snacks from the wait time and ate and rested.

We tried to go back and see it a 2nd time a few days later using the GAD FP. We showed up 10 mins before the start (this time also had a handicap pass, so assumed seating wouldn't have been an issue since the 1st time not 1 person sat in the H rows). The CM turned us away saying we couldn't use a FP for the show, and yes it says we can in the GAD FP flier BUT it was subject to change and they weren't allowing them. I asked if it was because seating was full already (yes) and showed her we had handicap accessibility (GAC card for recent knee replacement) and were still turned away.

Anyhow, my point being grab a regular FP for there if you decide to go and don't count on the GAD FP being used there. There are only a few shows a day, and while it's fun to see, it's not a HUGE loss to miss it either.

I wouldn't bother. Having been to WDW with a 22month old DD... no way.
