Trying to figure out the last few details of my itinerary when I ran into a bump with how they stagger the shows at MGM. My 2DS really want to see LMA and I really want to see Indiana Jones . Anyway the conflict comes with the fact that I want to do a midday break. It's an EMH morning and I know we could never make it all day w/out a break. Neither show starts until close to noon according to WDWEntertainment page. So we are only going to have time to see one in the morning and come back to see one after our break. But the problem is that I have a 6:30pm ADR at H&V(Fantasmic). Right now the schedule says that the LMA show starts at 5:30. Will I have enough time to make it to my ADR's? Does the show start promptly or is that when they let people in? If you are seated before 5:30, how soon before is that? Should I head back at 4:30? And is this enough time to make it to the park to get in line for the show?
I know so many questions, but as the trip gets closer I have way to many Disney thoughts going on in my head :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

HI...let me see if I can help out. Keep in mind I was there last October so I'm going on memory here...(and I am not a spring chicken..lol)

We went to the first LMA show and I believe it was 11:30am. We began filing in about 20 minutes or so before show start time. They get a HUGE amount of folks into this show (I think even more than IJSS!). We filled in there quite fast once we were moving. The show was probably around 45 minutes long and was totally worth evey minute of it. Even I truly enjoyed myself and the rest of my crew are males. Maybe one of you can scoot just before the show ends to get to your dinner ADR and then the rest could follow. The reason I say that is that there are HERDS of folks coming out once the show ends and it will slow you down getting to your restaurant.

If you arrive at the LMA at least half hour or more before show start time, you should be fine (of course this depends upon the crowds also...we have gotten turned away from IJSS due to too many folks already there). You can do it...just plan accordingly. Oh yea...and have a blast!!

hope this was some help,
Esmerelda

Thanks Esmerelda, that helped a lot. After looking repeatedly at the show schedules I'm beginning to think that they do not want people to go back to the resort for a break. The shows do not start till near noon and they only run till around 6 if that. I wonder why they do not have a 10am show for either. I would think the weather being a little cooler in the morning would be more preferable for the performers.
Or maybe at least they could stagger the shows a little better so you could go from 1 right to another with out a huge wait.
Here's hoping for a better time schedule for June 12.
