Lightning storm during Pirates night

I thought this was pretty cool, thought I would share! From a local weather man in Seattle.

Very interesting. I found his comments about the ridiculously hot weather to be very funny and reminiscent of twinkie who hails from that area too! She complained about being hot when it was a perfect 82! Anyway is it safe to do a fireworks/deck show in the middle of a lightning storm...?

Depends on how far away the storm is and where its heading. If its too close, things may get delayed, or in the case of a ship, itll prob move somewhere else. Disney (Universal and Sea World have similar rules) has several policies for outdoor shows and fireworks, and they are pretty fanatical about. Ive been to all 3 major parks during weather and each one has canceled or delayed something. We were on the Fantasys Maiden, and coming out of CC, a thunderstorm came up on us, and they closed the outer decks until the storm passed.
