Lightning Lane strategy when we can’t all ride the same rides?

I’m a pro at maximizing Lightning Lane when I can go park-commando style and dart around doing all the thrill rides. However, this upcoming trip I will be pregnant and will have a 2 year old in tow along with my 2 other family members. We are all getting LL anyway just to minimize time spent on my feet in even just a few rides.

How do I prioritize making LLs in this situation? Do we focus on the rides we are all doing together first (MMRR, Roger Rabbit, Pirates, Small World)? Or stick to the harder-to-get LLs like Indy for my mom and sister, and get those out of the way earlier in the day before the return times get pushed out late and interfere with Fantasmic/Paint the Night/fireworks plans?

Our first Disneyland day we probably will focus on Fantasyland and Toontown before an afternoon break back at the Disneyland Hotel, if that makes a difference.

We don't usually split up like that, but in general if there are big-ticket rides that are must-do's for some in the group I would get those early. Not necessarily first thing (we sometimes like to get in a quick LL ride or two asap), but for sure keep an eye on the LL times. You'll likely need to reserve them by mid-morning to noon or so at the latest to make sure they don't run out. If it was me I'd probably try to get something like Indy early on and while they are doing that you could do something mellow that is close by like Jungle Cruise or Tiki room.... or a Dole Whip! :P

This brings up a not so important important question:
Tiki Room, Dole Whip, Jungle Cruise
or
Jungle Cruise, Dole Whip, Tiki Room

For @Artygal90 I would recommend Tiki Room followed by Dole Whip due to timing and avoiding having to stand in line for Jungle Cruise. Also, I think the timing would work out better in terms of rejoining the rest of her travel party after they ride Indy.

This is a very important question! I actually prefer Dole Whip *and* Tiki Room as a way to keep a wiggly two year old occupied during the show. The birds are only interesting to him for a little bit 😂 then meet up with my mom for Jungle Cruise while my sister re-rides Indy because she’s allergic to terrible puns and has no desire to go on Jungle Cruise ever again!

If it works for you, that's awesome. The only problem with this is that I have is that you are limited to only the pineapple flavor. I like the different flavors available in Tropical Hideaway, but that is more about personal opinion than right or wrong.
