Hi everybody, We are a group of 3, all linked for our trip. If we book a LL MP for all of us, but one person chooses to opt out and not scan in, will all 3 of us still be able to book another LL once 2 of us scan in?

Or… is there a way to book separate LL at the start without it being too complicated?

Our party is me (who will ride anything), my brother (who will ride some thrill rides but not all), and my mom (who will ride no thrill rides.) what’s the best way to handle this with LL?

Thank you!

When you make your reservations, you will be prompted to choose who is going, and you should check only those who intend to ride. If two of you choose one ride, the third can choose a completely different ride (for example, you could all choose Peter Pan and Little Mermaid, you and brother could choose Haunted Mansion while Mom chooses Small World). I wouldn't book all three of you for thrill rides with the idea of scanning two, because all three would have to scan before another choice can be booked, and some rides have two scans that require tickets be scanned at the SECOND touchpoint (possibly well inside the queue and difficult to access if you're not riding) before the next selection can be made.

Oh, that makes sense. Thank you!

I would do it differently, I would book for all of you if this is a family trip where you want to spend time together.

LLMP can only be booked once per person so if 2 book together and 1 books a different attraction, you’re basically planning days apart.

I would tend to book all together and then the one who does not wish to ride tap in and wait with you then use the chicken exit if the CM says both tap points are being used. (You can ask at the initial tap point hof double tap is being used.) if only one tap is being used they can tap in and then move to a bench to wait while you ride.

It ican be very challenging to book overlapping return times if you book at different times.

Just another option if your plan is to be together rather than spending your day travelling the parks individually.

When we went i booked the ride i knew one person wasnt going to ride (lets say Slinky) not for the first ride of the day. I picked one we all ride like TSM so that “unlocked” the ability to do anything. After that i could modify or cancel the Slinky rider. In this case, the person wanted an Alien Swirling at the same time. This wouldve been an issue if everyone had wanted to ride it together and they had used their one pass, but.. i wouldnt have done that in that case. In this case, we had all already ridden in with a minimal standby. Being able to think and adjust based on the day is often needed, as rides will go down, different people get tired, availability etc.,

We had an issue where two members of our party had an extenuating circumstance and could not tap in at the first attraction, which then meant our entire party could not choose another Tier 1 attraction and stay together. The blue umbrella CM was able to help but not guaranteed. Definitely make sure you all check into the first LL.

I’d definitely keep it simple and book all LLMP together, tap in together (that way you can make next LL), and use the chicken exit. Maybe have the member(s) of you party who don’t ride make the next LL while the other(s) ride. Rinse and repeat!

I tapped in two magic bands at Tower of Terror once when my daughter decided she didn't want to ride. I had to take it all the way through since there are two tap points. The CM said that was no issue at all and my daughter just stayed with her Dad. Just an option that's probably easier to keep everyone on the same schedule.

Did the ability to modify your LL and drop a person from that particular ride go away when LLMP came into play? I know that doing that wouldn't work with your FIRST LL (because unlocking park hopping and additional Tier 1s wouldn't be available), but if that's still an option you could do it for subsequent LLs.
