Lighting Lane when Switching Parks?

Hey everyone, just wanted to ask a hopefully simple question about LL

If I buy it and start my day in Disneyland and head to DCA, am I now locked into only being able to book LL for DCA now or can I book a LL at both parks as long as I've been scanned into both parks or are you locked into the one park you just scanned into last? Thank you

Good question and good news: as long as you have Park Hopper, you may make a reservation for either park. It does not matter which park you are in or even which park you have scanned into. You do need to have entered one of the parks for the day to start making reservations for that day, but it does not matter which one. Just keep in mind that you cannot hop until after 11am.

It doesn’t matter which park you are in. You can select lightning lane for either park with a magic key or hopper ticket. The only restriction is you will not be allowed to book a LL for a ride with a return time before 11AM in your non-starting park.

Yes, you do have to wait until 11am PT if you want to switch parks, but that only applies if you go into either one of the parks. If you didn't go in to the park prior to 11am PT, you should have no problem.

The reservation restrictions that you thought occurred DOES NOT APPLY to Lightning Lane as you can still use the same Lightning Lane purchases for either park, even if you hop around.
